Tell me about the Baha'i Faith Please.. Why are they "Radical"?

Baha'i talk a good social program however, at least in the US, they have never put the same into practice nor made it a reality as they are a very small group of limited membership. As far as equality of all faiths go, Baha'i is based on a radical misinterpretation of Islam and the concept of the Mahadi (God born as a human to live amongst us which some Islamic sects profess and which is blaspheme in Islam).

From what I've learned about the Baha'i Faith, they certainly promote equality as an ideal, although I am unable to comment on whether this is put into practice or not. They also promote peace and aim to achieve world peace. However, I think the overarching goal of the Baha'i Faith is to unite all the main world faiths into the Baha'i religion.

Baha'i theology uses the Bible to claim that: "The Lamb with seven horns (Revelation 5:6-10) represent the seven Manifestations whose Revelations are still practiced in the world today but have become apostate. These are Moses, Krishna, Zoroaster, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad and Baha'u'llah... The person who is seated on the throne represents the living Davidic King, the current President of the UHJ, the Executive Branch in the Baha'i Faith and the scroll which the Lamb removes from the right hand of the Davidic King is the Covenant of Baha'u'llah and the Will and Testament of `Abdu'l-Baha." "Jesus had no son. When He was crucified the lineage of King David through his son Nathan came to an end.

The only lineage which remained that could last forever was the lineage of David's son Solomon which was the Throne Line of Kings. Baha'u'llah being the second Christ and seated on the throne of David passed this lineage of David to His son, the Most Great Branch, `Abdu'l-Baha and conferred upon him infallibility." And here comes the important part: The Kingdom of God is the World Order of Baha'u'llah.

Apparently, "Jesus' Mission was accomplished with the establishment of the Universal House of Justice, it its appointed stage as the second International Baha'i Council on January 9, 1991." That is how the Baha'i religion hopes to work Christianity into its system. The Baha'i religion sprang from Babism.

The Baha'ullah (1817-92) claimed to be a messenger of God and the promised redeemer of ALL religions. It has strong Islamic appeal (with Shi'ism, not with the Sunni's who view it as having apostasized from Islam proper.) It claims to be the only true representation of Muhammad. It is strong on global diffusion and is represented in almost all countries of the world (if very unevenly).

It appeals to all others by saying true religion is based on love and compassion for all the peoples of the world. Fanaticism and religious disputation erode this basis. Religion is complementary to science and reason, and should be in harmony with them.

That is their recipe for globalization. Personally, I see it as the biggest single means of compromise with world faiths, so that it might well succeed in getting a form of unity going which would have benefits, certainly, but at the cost of truth and integrity to God. It would pay lip service to all that others hold dear whilst sidelining Jesus Christ as the only means of God's salvation.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
