Tell me liberals, why should we ban "assault weapons" (sporter rifles)?

I find it funny that many believe a semi-auto rifle to be an assault rifle. Its more of omg thats a scary looking weapon ban.

No there was no ban, the guns he used were legal and registered. Maybe the accessories should be registered too. I'd like to hear a reasonable solution besides laws don't work, since laws don't make people behave, they just list the punishment when they don't.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
