I enjoyed parts of it, but I find it upsetting that she does not get along with her teenage daughter and her life at home seems out of control. Seems like if she is going to "fix" other people, she should have better control over her own family.
I do think the writing is good and I liked the humor and how feisty the gal is.
Part of the excitement and what makes this show believable is that mechanics sometimes do not work on their own cars, auto detailers sometimes have the dirtiest cars, painters sometimes never get around to painting their own homes etc. Social workers and therapists homes are sometimes full of chaos. Even though she has problems with everyone in her family, she can still find some compassion for everyone including her patients. I also loved that even though she was driven by money, she did not break her ethics for it.
I love it.
It seemed real. Kids not being perfect, and kind of self absorbed, along with self destructive. LOL.
Also, a son copying his father -- a cheater -- and no one really knew it .... LOL. Way too much. LOL.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
