The tea party does not seem happy that obama cut the deficit in half. why is that?

Well evidently they do know it - hence the need to invent the lie that he tripled it first. The projected deficit for fiscal 2009 on the day Obama took office was $1.2 trillion or 8.3% of GDP. http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2012/05... This is yet another example of Republicans refusing to take any responsibility for the mess Bush created and instead trying to dump it on his successor.

This president is set to spend more money than EVERY PRESIDENT IN HISTORY BEFORE HIM COMBINED by the end of his term" This is a ridiculous lie that is not even close to being true. Ignoring the fact that a President cannot spend a dime without congress approving it, the numbers do not even come close. Total outlays for 2010-2017 fiscal years (budgets prepared by Obama) are projected to be 30.3 trillion.

All previous Presidents combined spent 54.1 trillion. So Obama's administration has spent 56% of what all previous administrations did. Other recent two term administrations record the following results: Bush 63% of all previous administrations, Clinton 65% of all previous administrations, Reagan 91% of all previous administrations.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
