Liberalism is an ideology based on feelings and emotions, not reason and logic. Therefore, liberalism cannot withstand scrutiny against facts and truth, so they rapidly resort to ad hominem attacks or name calling. For example, a tenet of liberalism is egalitarianism, that everyone is equal.

Really? While out of fairness people may be entitled to equal justice under law or equal opportunity in employment, if all people are equal then why aren t fat old ladies in the NBA, which is 80% black males? Like in Ferguson, liberals and their Black Lives Matter allies want more blacks in law enforcement, but few are applying and those that do are unqualified, but if you mention that you are branded "racist".

Infinite studies show women perform poorly in combat, but if you oppose SecDef Carter s directive that women should be in Marine Infantry, Delta, Rangers, SEALs, then you are a "sexist". The purpose of name calling is Saul Alinsky tactics, from his handbook to liberals called Rules for Radicals. Liberals personally demonize the person with the idea and do not intellectually refute the position.

If I call you a sexist, and popularly sexism is regarded as bad, I marginalize you without addressing the merits of the argument. Demonize and marginalize. "You are a racist, racism is bad, nobody should listen to you..." Today, now, the US government is completely inept at protecting us.

0bama has kept the border wide open, so anyone can waltz across. He does not enforce sanctuary cities, so criminals and terrorists have government sanctioned safe haven. He hands out student and marriage visas like candy at Halloween with zero due diligence in vetting.

Bad things are inevitable, and when they happen he tells Americans they are pro gun nuts, xenophobe and islamaphobe and racists. Stay focused on the merits of the position and do not go on the defensive when name calling starts.

Anger is a common cover for stupidity. Liberals answer with an insult because that's all they've got. If a question points out the idiocy of their utopian nonsensical thinking pattern (as many questions do), they're mad.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
