This has happened to me too. In my case all I did was to ignore it. Don't lose any sleep over it.
I had a number of duplicate hubs for a while. While it isn't breaking any hubpage rules (because you wrote the content) I do believe that it has an impact on hubscore and potential revenue. I don't actually have evidence to back that up, but after I deleted my duplicate hubs, I saw my user hubscore reaching higher numbers, as well as my revenue.
HubPages wants unique content and they reward those who give it to them. So, if you can afford to delete them, I would recommend it, and if you can't, then edit them enough that the tag goes away.
You posted your blog/hubs on another website. That is exactly the reason they are showing up as duplicate. Hubpages doesn't mind if you post your blogs other places.
However on (your statistic view) it will show up as a "duplicate" if a major portion of the hub is available for viewing on another site. Naturally they would prefer if you only listed your hub/blog on hub pages which would mean readers would have to come to the hubpage site. This would also increase your revenues opportunity if people could only read your blog/hub on a site you have set up to receive revenues from ad clicks. It's no big deal really.
I have several duplicate hubs from posting blogs on yahoo shine. If you want to avoid this you can (post your hub on hubpages first and wait a couple of weeks before posting it somewhere else.)Best of luck!
It is my understanding from reading the regs when I signed up for hubpages that the articles we submit to hubpages must be original and published ONLY on hubpages. I used to write on Blogger. Now I simply paste a link pointing to my hubpages article on my blogger site once I publish a new hub on hubpages.
I hope this helps.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
