I can, provided I have a chance to LISTEN to politics! Lol! I think I am a political junkie and I follow (almost) every bit of news.At least the part of news that I like to hear about and I am interested in.

I also discuss politics with my friends and I do it every so often I see somebody who is interested in politics. Also when I come to Askville I have a look at Discussions but I rarely post in political DB's. I sometimes do but I prefer to read and learn instead of getting into a discussion that 90% of the time ends up with name-calling!

Almost everyday I listen to National Public Radio and I love it. (I know you don't like it! Lol!

) If I listen to news and read some news I am happy and I don't necessarily need to "talk" about politics! Having said that if I want to stop thinking, talking, hearing and reading about politics I doubt I can do it for 2 days in a row. Well, maybe I could do it but that is not easy for sure!

Political Junkie I never was a political junkie, but with this campaign, I have been glued to radio or television. Its difficult to stay away for two days. The latest primaries have revealed the stance, character, and values of each candidate.

However, it is appalling and at the same time intriguing. I suppose I'm concerned about the person we put in the White House, There's fabrication of facts, lying, greed, deception, associations, and phoniness. I am concerned about us middle Americans who will carry the burden for social services..

Probably not during such a pivital ellection year as this one, nor as long as the US is involved in Iraq. It's really an important topic, much more important than what Brittany, Paris or Brad are doing, or who got kicked off of Survivor or American Idol, or any of that other superficial crap. Politics decide who procpers and who fails, who lives and who dies, so, realistically, there is nothing more important than it in this country.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
