The two “Groupon-like” sites that I have found worthwhile are Living Social and Jetsetter. I don’t think either is quite as good for what I want as Groupon, but each are good and worth a look. Living Social (livingsocial.Com) is pretty much the same as Groupon.

One key differentiator with Living Social is that on any given deal, if you share the deal with three friends and one of them buys it, the deal is free for you. I haven’t found that the deals on Living Social meet my wants quite as much as Groupon, but it’s still worth a look – more deals can’t be a bad thing, right? Jetsetter is part of the Gilt Group and offers great deals on fantastic lodiging around the world.

Since this is part of Gilt, they focus on luxury destinations, but the deals are amazing (often 60%+ off) and the locations are all “pre-qualified” by Jetsetter. I’ve never bought a deal, but maybe one day I’ll find the right one to match with what I’m looking for.

There are a number of daily deal websites that has mushroomed to challenge the dominance of Groupon. First of the challengers is Tippr, a daily deal site which notifies members on deals through its newsletter. They also have an ongoing promotion on Twitter that awards members for their referrals.

Another daily deal site which become noticeable due to the latest craze on Groupon like sites is Thrillis. The site is also similar with Tippr, in the sense that it notifies members for ongoing deals through newsletter. One of the unique features of Tippr is that they have specific deals for each city and and another daily deals nationwide.

With regards to upstart daily deals site, there are also a number of them that have appeared such as BuyWithMe, "Open to deals in 8 cities, BuyWithMe is known for offering tiered sub deals," Yipit, "active in 7 cities and is on the verge of launching in Denver, Las Vegas, Washington DC and London," and AtCost, "offers deals in various cities across USA, Canada, UK and Australia.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
