TV left flickering after computer connected once?

TV left flickering after computer connected once The other day I connected my desktop computer to my TV (a rather old CRT) via an s-video/s-video cable for the first time. The devices weren't even configured properly at first and I didn't get anything on the TV. After disconnecting the cable, I noticed a kind of flickering set in to the image on all TV channels.

The best I can describe it as is a constant, subtle flickering of horizontal lines across the entire screen. It doesn't make parts of the image go dark or distort it, but is clearly visible, especially on bright-colored backgrounds. My question: what is this and how do I get rid of it?

My best "stab in the dark" guess is that I made the TV run at my monitor's refresh rate (60 Hz) but I tend to be clueless when it comes to hardware. Asked by Vorimas 33 months ago Similar questions: TV left flickering computer connected Consumer Electronics.

If it is only around halfway through the disc and is momentary it is normal when the dvd laser switches from one layer to a second layer on a dual layer DVD. Unfortunately that is normal. If it is intermitant at multiple areas of a DVD more than once I would try a differant component video also try setting your Plasma TV component video input to the native resolution of the DVD player rather than letting it try to upconvert to 720P or 1080i.

You could also try a secondary input on your Plasma TV to rule out the one input. Sources: justanswer.com/questions/er59-plasma-tv-... .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
