Was it proper for Obama to order the drone strike that killed radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Aulaqi?

It's proof of their hypocrisy. Back under the Bush administration when American citizens were being assassinated and sent to Gitmo with out due process they seem to not have a problem with it, but now suddenly when a Liberal does it they've got themselves a problem. If Americans can't see this just more Washington politics at it's finest, then America is with out hope.

Absolutely no hope, because the Republican party doesn't give two shits about the government assassinating a citizen with out due process which is Unconstitutional in every single way, they're only making a fuss because it's controversial for the Democrats and Republicans will gain political momentum from this.

I haven't heard any conservatives complaining about it, except Ron Paul...and I have never agreed with his national security/defense policy. Most of us see it as killing an enemy combatant at a time of war. Ron Paul sees it as executing an American citizen without due process.

Other than Ron Paul (and some of his supporters), I have only heard liberals throwing a fit about this...Apparently they begin to care about our laws when a terrorist is killed...Wish they gave a damn about our immigration laws...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
