Iris! I love the iris because it is such a delicate yet exquisite flower at the same time. I love the way they smell so clean and I like how there is such variety in color and pattern..
Lilac's I would have to say that the lilac is my all favorite flower. It represents spring and has an aroma that is very refreshing. I have a small old fashioned lilac on my side lawn and when it blooms you can smell it everywhere!

Biscus The biscus (the tropical variety mostly) and Canna. Both great plants... the biscus blooms all summer. I have some doubles I put out front of my house in a large pot an bring them in for the winter.

Tulips I love tulips, I always have. I truly think it’s their simplicity. I love the beginning of spring when my tulips are blooming, I’ve doubled what I usually plant because I love to have them in the house as well as in the garden.
Gerbera Daisies are a close second. In both I like the brighter colors. I love the full rich colors that are in most Gerbera Daisies, the pinks, yellows and oranges they just are so beautiful.
On the other end of things, I used to like roses; however, I was in a horrible relationship and as an "I’m sorry I was a jack-ss, here are two dozen roses. " I always had roses in the house. They just remind me of a poor choice I made in that relationship and started to symbolize insincerity, so I’ve never really rebounded back to liking roses.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
