You're not being selfish.. SHE is for thinking that just because you're her friend, you would let her borrow your things. Friendship doesn't come with a "you'll have to let me borrow everything of yours" pass. Tell her exactly what you told us.

Everything that you let her borrow always comes back messed up, and you're tired of having to buy new things because you ruined her old things! She's wasting YOUR and YOUR PARENTS' money! Tell her you're sorry but you're not going to let her borrow your things anymore.

And please just tell her to get her own lip balm; she should be mature enough to carry around her own, and you don't want to get infections from using the same one as hers.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
