Parents are starting to regain that skip in their step as the summer grows to a close. Back to school is the perfect "vacation" time for parents...within their own home! Fun topic Cara-- Looking forward to all of the great hubs to come.
I remember commercials for school supplies always starting at the beginning of August. In particular I remember a commercial that took the famous Christmas song "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and changed it to School time -the wost wonderful time for parents.
I wish I found this sooner! I just published an article about the first day of school for teachers.. Looking forward to reading the articles submitted here!

It is a great source of search friendly topics Topics are often accompanied by helpful tips on how to best cover a subject successfully (seeing as successful online articles on a certain subject are often different from successful printed articles on the same subject) It enables you to tackle a new subject with a group - you can compare each other's work and learn from other Hubbers' approaches to a common subject, plus you get the group's support, since you're all in it together Hubs published that are participating in the Weekly Topic Inspiration program get extra consideration as the HubPages staff selects the Hub of the Day, which is featured on the HubPages homepage.
Getting Started on HubPages: Step #1 - Create Great Content.
While we love the idea of creating Hubs together as a community around a shared theme, we have found the current Weekly Topic Inspiration lacking on a few fronts. Here’s how the new version is going to work. Each Friday I’ll make a Forum post announcing Topic Pages where you can vote for the week’s Rising Star nominees (to make it easier for you to find Topic Pages with open polls).
In that post I’ll also mention three newly-created promising Topics that seem particularly fun and interesting. Any Hubber who wants to write about one (or more) of the week’s Topics can simply post his/her Hub directly in that Forum thread. I’ll still be browsing your posts for Hub of the Day material and commenting occasionally, but I also strongly encourage you to organize themed Hub Challenges on your own with your fellow Hubbers.
It’s an awesome way to get motivated, stay in touch with other Hubbers, and meet writers with similar interests. If you’re still hungry for more inspiration, don’t forget to check out our Exclusive titles. Just type a word or short phrase into the Hub Title field of the HubTool and see what comes up!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
