Yes--this question was asked 13 months ago, so I can no longer appeal It is my only two star rating. The highest rating was 3, so I shouldn't feel too badly, but it angered me. The person asked, "What is the true meaning behind Christmas?"

Underrated, unappreciated, and unappealed Dear Askville Anomaly Re-judgment Center: Here is a question for your consideration: askville.amazon.com/Give-favorite-PRESSU... This question asked for pressure cooker recipes. I got 3.5 stars and 3 experience points. I did not appeal.

I completely answered the question and gave 3 recipes. I’m not saying my answer deserved Best Answer or even that it was better than anyone else’s. It just seems to me it deserved more than 3.5.If others disagree, I’d sure like to know why so that I can write better answers in the future.

Yours truly, Underrated, unappreciated, and unappealed On a slightly unrelated topic, I’ve observed that questions that start "Where can I find...." almost always result in a low score. I think the asker gets their answer and then bolts. These answers require a disproportionate amount of work to link the sources even when I have a pretty good idea of what they are.

I have had so many of these come back default 3.0’s. The good news is they always come back in the high 4’s on appeal. AARC - you are earning your Askville wings by this, good luck! I asked Lady_Wolf if it’s ok (she replied with a ’yes’) that I post some Answers which I had submitted for Appeal but in most cases it didn’t change my ratings as listed in my I'd just like to say that I've been involved in spiritual books for near to 50 years plus typesetting and publishing same for 28 years, and from my perspective can understand the subject very well. Anomalies I’ve known in past weeks are: I took the time to collect the main Answers that were rated so very low and I just do not understand why.

You can check them out if you have the time and interest. They went to Appeal and came back. In some cases it appears that where I do not walk hand in hand then I am left out.

The question was about "learn ... wisdom, & any book ... or school that I can go? " ... to which I replied accordingly: where to go to a school and books to read. Yet the ’best’ answers ignored the question and gave their opinion!

Is this right? It’s like me asking for a Recipe book to learn how to make stew but the answer I get is that you have to go through life and get experience and THEN you’ll know how to make stew! In my opinion, a recipe book at the start would be a great help, don’t you agree?

Such is life, eh? Yet there is only one God, and in my reply I chose to communicate directly with Is that really so wrong? So contradictory as to deserve a 2.5 rating first time, then after appeal it was 3.0.

Org), and included a choice of three books as well. Added to this, my answer even received an outside approval: 1 person liked this answer, with a thumbs up for it!

Yet for all this I was rated 1.67! After my appeal it was put at 2.5. Oddly enough, the message just above mine had approx.25 words and was rated 2.75. I do feel something is going on here that is not fair.

It is still minus nine (-9) on my I cannot understand what they are thinking. I still question their judgment on this. But who does one talk to?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
