He had back surgery 5 yrs ago! It didn't slow him down. Hes just started this about 6 months ago.

Men are visual creatures by and large. Are you keeping yourself attractive through diet and exercise? You could get him on board with that lifestyle tweak maybe?

I don't know what's in his mind but I'm guessing that could be part of it.

Something else is going on. You mentioned that all he's interested in is church. Could he somehow think that sex is not what a good church goer should be indulging in?

I think you have to have an honest conversation with him. I would not rule out a physical problem and I don't mean his back. Get him to get a checkup from his doctor--perhaps a male specialist (urologist) if he isn't having erections.

Somehow, I suspect the problem is his attitude and physical as well.

He says he doesn't have that problem. You can't believe how many conversations we've had. He just says,he doesn't feel like it.

I've said,do you know how many times,i haven't felt like i? But like I told him ,if he doesn't want to,for whatever reason,i don't want him to. I just think,he really doesn't love me,even though he swears he does.

There may be a million other factors involved. He may be having physical issues, emotional issues, or may be just flat out exhausted. Consider these before looking for other causes.

It is possible that his back is giving him trouble, again.

I'm right there. I do believe my husband loves me but is going through a lot of changes right now. Broke off with his father, is taking 13 units in school, works full time and so on.

Things change and then sometimes they change back. Once I learned to not take it personally we started having sex more and basically it's not an issue for me anymore. I think this is a miracle for me because I was exactly where you are right now.

Accept what is, work on it, don't take it personally and keep the love coming. Not easy to do but helps. We do each individually go to counciling and still love each other very much.

I am committed for the long term and things happen along the way.

Maybe he thinks his mom is watching him have sex after dying. Maybe he has depression about her death. When she dies/he dies?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
