The main jobs in the Music Producing Industry are. Producer: DUH! .'A producer has many roles that may include, but are not limited to, gathering ideas for the project, selecting songs and/or musicians, coaching the artist and musicians in the studio, controlling the recording sessions, and supervising the entire process through mixing and mastering.
" The A&R Coordinator: "The ARC is responsible for various activities. Actual functions depend on particular record company the Coordinator works with, the size of the record company, its geographic location, and other factors." The A&R Admin: "The A&R (Artist and Repertoire) Administrator works alongside the A&R Coordinators, and in some cases, he or she might take on A&R administation and A&R coordination duties if the record label is a small one.
On the other hand, if the record label is large, the A&R administrator's duties revolve around the secretarial functions like bookkeeping, office upkeep, etc. He or she would most likely handle artist budgets, which is considered one of their more important duties. Similar to how budget coordinators in other companies would go about their business, he or she would look at previous budgets and the current landscape and artist lineup, while also projecting cost estimations in order to come up with the new budget. As time passes, the A&R Administrator's success or failure largely hinges on whether or not the budget is being met.
" The Arranger: "The Arranger is the one who arranges the many parts of a musical composition. Voice, harmonic structure, instrument, tempo, rhythm, and tone balance are all taken into consideration in order to attain the intended composition. It is essentially the Arranger's job to take any plain song and turn it into a potential chart topping single.
To do this, an Arranger must be aware of trends in music." The Recording Engineer: "Managing the sound board and all electrical studio equipment for that matter is the main job for any Recording Engineer. However, this is not their only responsibility.
In a large studio, there could be many different engineers working on a recording session, including the set-up worker, the Main Recording Engineer, the Recording Assistant, and maybe even another Engineer who would be responsible for mixing the tracks after they are recorded." The Assistant Engineer: "As the position name implies, the Assistant Engineer has the important job of physically setting up the recording studio before a recording session takes place. This responsibility is not to be taken lightly, as studio recording time is very expensive, meaning no time should be wasted tinkering with set up.
" There are many other pieces to the puzzle but these are the main that include actual music producing. Though also there are many other gigs out there such as scoring video games, T. V Shows and Movies and creating stock audio files for people to buy via the internet.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
