Difficult to know what the questioner is getting at here. South Africa has demonstrated a capability of running a successful nuclear plant with the Koeberg PWR, which was a french design. I believe some operational difficulties occurred due to faults in the HV transmission lines, but this is no reflection on the reactor safety management.
A nuclear plant with high output does however need a transmission setup which is reliable and flexible in the event of faults New nuclear plans in South Africa revolve around the pebble bed design, the intention is to build a high power (approx 100MW? ) prototype at Koeberg. This is certainly an ambitious project, and would be a world first. It does build on some experience, in Germany for example, and I believe China also intends to develop this design Perhaps the questioner is suggesting that going for such an unproven design is a disadvantage, and it obviously has its risks in terms of the investment required.
However this would apply wherever it was sited.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
