At the Golden Globes award ceremony top actors and actress flock to the red carpet to enjoy the glitz and the glam and to showcase their own personal style. Many actress look forward to this time of year to dress up in rare designer fashions; which is commonly known as couture. Designers lend these gowns to celebrities for the night and allow them to wear these gowns provided they mention exactly who they are wearing to the media.

This serves an excellent low-cost form of advertising for the designer.
