I use Digg, Redgage, Twitter, Facebook, my personal blogs, and also sharing on my feed.
I only promote using Twitter at the moment, but am looking into a few others in an attempt to get more traffic. I have recently joined Tumblr and Blogger and hope to promote my hubs here.
I use Tumblr and Xanga, both are blog platforms and I've had my accounts there longer than I have here at HubPages. Then there's Reddit and Digg, usually only when I originally publish the hub though.
Twitter. Facebook. RedGage.Shetoldme.Blogcatalog.Blogger.
Stumble Upon. Google Share. RSS Feed.
Fried Eggs. There are too many to name....
To be honest I don't really bother promoting my hubs. What is the point of raising the Page Rank of your Hub using your powerful websites when the links become nodofollow after a while.
. I'd have to say the promotion should match the purpose. I'm a beginning writer, and need criticism more than praise. So, I promote on here to create a web of "followers" that will hopefully give constructive coaching on how to improve my methods.
I can see by reading one of your articles that's not your downfall. :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
