Hi! The secret to not having the urge to eat junk food is water. Drink at least 5 bottles a day and not only are you filling yourself up with empty calories, it hydrates your body and it will take away the urge for sweets.
Any time that you have the urge to eat sweets, drink water instead. Have a cheat day. This means once a week you can have 1 chocolate bar etc. You live in such a perfect place to be active I hope you take advantage of that!
Running is perfect, biking, swimming etc. Just be active, since you are so young you will burn calories a lot faster than others. Some tips: Do not eat past 7pm Do not drink anything but water. Do not have any sweets unless it is the cheat day- ex every friday Don't eat as much carbohydrates instead eat lean protein -like bread and pasta, instead have chicken, pork Don't eat as much dairy products -like milk and yogurt Eat tons of vegetables -make a salad!
I believe if your mom sees your fight to be healthy and lost your belly fat then she will join in, Do this not only for yourself but for your mom! Good luck!
I'm 15, and used to be in the same situation as you. Please do not even flirt with dieting! I wish someone showed me this when I was in your situation, it would have prevented me from ever having to suffer anorexia nervosa.
I now eat 2500-3000 calories a day and don't gain weight. I do NOT have a fast metabolism (I was heavy, then anorexic and underweight, which KILLS your metabolism). And I only exercise for about an hour a day, I'm busy with school work and lay around most of the day.
I'm 5'5, 114 pounds, and I don't restrict one bit. Wanna know how? Eat your species-specific diet.
That's right. Carnivores eat all the raw meat they want and never get fat. Omnivores eat all the raw meat and raw fruits and veggies they want and never get fat.
Herbivores eat all the greens they want and never get fat. Frugivores (primates and their derivatives--HUMANS) can eat all the raw fruits and leafy greens they want and never get fat. You wouldn't see a lion stop eating halfway through a meal of dead zebra because it's 'afraid of getting fat'.
You wouldn't see a monkey go to a banana tree and eat only one banana because it's 'afraid of eating too many carbs/sugar'. Spiders will eat 2-3X their weight and still be on the look out for more food. These animals don't even know what a calorie is, let alone calorie restriction, yet their lean and trim and very low in body fat.
Why? They eat what they're designed to eat. As humans, we are designed to eat fruit and leafy greens, with maybe a few nuts and seeds (not many).
Look up the 80/10/10 diet. Buy the book. Watch Dr. Graham's videos on YouTube.
I promise you, this is not a fad diet or some scam. It will change your life if you stick with it. I NEVER restrict my calories EVER.
I eat as much as I desire and still stay super lean. Visit these websites for more info: www.realrawresults.com www.30bananasaday.com www.foodnsport.com www.meganelizabeth.com www.thebananagirl.com www.durianrider.org www.pcrm.org www.notmilk.com.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
