I have a few that I like. It really depends on where you live in the City. I live in the Silver Lake area so I'm lucky enough to be close to Cru.It also happens to be my favorite place.

Besides the great raw menu, I like Cru because they also have some cooked organic dishes, so I can take my friends that aren't into raw food. My favorites are the Ravioli Cruda and the Yellow Thai Curry. Oh and how can I forget the Chocolate Truffle Cake.

OMG! I've been to the SunPower Cafe twice and really liked the Asian Salad and the raw cookies! My next choice would be Eurphoria Loves Rawvolution in Santa Monica is a bit of a drive for me, but I do stop in for breakfast occasionaly on my way back from surfing.

They have a great raw granola and their Apple bread and Almond butter sandwich with strawberries and apples is to die for. They also sell half pints of raw ice cream to go. For some reason though it never makes it into the freezer.

LOL! Juliano's in Santa Monica is good too, but it is a little pretenious and pricey for me. Fuzzy after reading you comment in the DB, I'm posting this book is for you.

FuzzyGold replied to post #1: 4 To be honest, I do eat a lot of uncooked lettuce, nuts, and onions. I guess avocados could also be considered alive. But I'm concerned about how clean they are.

When I get paranoid I spray with hydrogen peroxide. (But I don't get paranoid enough to take it into a restaurant. ) This user has been banned from Askville.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
