Garlic supplements or garlic itself are good for your immune system. As for juice, I would go with cranberry and/or orange juice.
I personally use Echinacea. I find that the ones with Golden Seal are more powerful. The key is to start taking it in the beginning right when you feel a little sick.
You don't need to start with the full dosage of 2 pills 3 times a day, but I start with 1 in the morning and if I still feel off, I take a 2nd. If you feel worse, take more (keep in mind the max). It also helps to take Vitamin C, you really cannot "overdose" on vitamin c so I tend to take about 1000 mg when I'm feeling sick.As for juices, I find orange juice to be the most helpful.
