I usually take an aggressive approach. First I drink a hot cup of Ginger Tea. You can make it more effective by adding honey to it as both the ginger and honey help to fight the sore throat.
The next thing I do is take teaspoons of concentrated unsweetened lime juice mixed with salt. This helps a lot because the salt helps relieve the itchiness of the throat and the lime juice is pure vitamin C. That is another thing - I take a double dose of Vitamin C.So that means 1,000 mg in the morning and 1,000 mg at night.
And finally I get Strepsils or any other lozenge because they really help to numb the throat and make be feel slightly more comfortable when I swallow. Get better soon!
You can buy over the counter throat sprays is the easiest way, lasts forever and I carry one with me always because even thirst when in the car without a drink can cause dehydration turning to dry itch. If you opt for a honey hot water lemon drink at home I would add a drop or two (maybe little less than 1/2 teaspoon) olive or canola oil. That will coat the throat really well and make sure it is not a very hot drink which irritate the throat worse.
Gargle it with salt water. Lay off sweetened food and drinks. No Tabasco and too oily food.
Get antibiotic if you must.
A teaspoon of natural honey, desert sppon of (natural fresh) lemon juice. Add to half a cup of luke warm water. Sip slowly every two to three hours through the day.DO NOT EAT ANY SUGAR during these days.
Pour on a fresh lemon juice a cup of hot water. Add a tablespoon of honey. Mix well and drink this 3 times daily.
Vitamin C and honey can be consumed durings the daytime..and antibiotic at night 'cause it makes you so sleepy..thanks for sharing..
Use a neti pot to rinse your sinuses and drink warm lemon ginger tea.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
