I prefer the use of debit cards compared to credit cards unless I’m shopping online. The one downside to using a debit card is that if your account info is ever compromised, that person or group of people have direct access to your funds. If this happens with a credit card at least it’s not your own personal funds and most companies do not charge the account holder for fraudulent activity especially if it’s reported right away.
A benefit to using credit cards though is that they help you establish a credit history. You mentioned making a purchase with a credit card even though you have the available cash in your person account. I agree with you in regards to why not pay if you have the funds on hand to pay for the purchase.
However, making the purchase on a card and then paying the balance off in full helps you to build up your score and avoid interest charges at the same time. Best of all, it will be as if you did make the purchase with your debit card. A second benefit to using credit cards is that you often earn rewards, points etc toward hotel stays, air travel etc. This is definitely a good feature for someone who has to travel frequently.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
