According to the Chevrolet website, the 2010 Chevy Impala has the highest possible crash safety rating. However, if you look at a conglomeration of these ratings from different rating groups, that statement is in fact only a half truth. When it comes to NHSTA frontal crash test ratings, this vehicle does in fact have a five star frontal crash test safety rating.
What that means is that if you were to be in a front-end collision in this vehicle, you would have the maximum level of protection available, according to the safety features available on this vehicle. Since the majority of crashes today are in fact front-end collisions, this information is still valuable. However, when it comes to other types of crashes, a fellow safety rating company reveals different results.
While the results of this study are not necessarily bad, they also indicate that this vehicle still has some room for improvement in terms of added safety features according to some consumer groups. The IIHS Frontal Offset Crash test gave the 2010 Chevy Impala four out of four stars on most elements of the safety test. However, this vehicle did receive a 3 star rating on some aspects of testing, which is still considered "acceptable," but not quite "good."
The areas were this vehicle seemed to lag in terms of safety standards in crash tests were: structure/safety cage, head/neck, right leg/foot, and overall front. While these tests indicate that there is still room for more crash protection in this vehicle, you will find that when compared to other vehicles on today's market, the results in terms of safety for the 2010 Chevy Impala still fare much better than a number of other vehicles. In the video below, MotorTrend Magazine reviews the 2010 Chevy Impala in a test drive of one of this year's hottest new vehicles.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
