What are your favorite social networking sites and why?

I use meetup.com" rel="nofollow">meetup.com and linkedin.com so I know a bit about those two. I understand what makes meetup.com" rel="nofollow">meetup.com effective, it focuses on real-world events and is therefore different than most other sites. It provides tools for managing these groups and has generated a critical mass that makes it the place to go for local club events, so much so that several local event web sites have started meetup groups to cross-post their events.

Since it started with an emphasis on grass-roots political organizations it still has many politically-oriented groups. Linkedin is all about business relationships & does a good job of using your existing contacts to connect you to others with little effort. It gets users started quickly and provides additional functions like job search and referrals to bring you back.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
