I had surgery 3 months ago to remove 2 disc that was putting pressure on my nerve down my left leg after surgey my leg is always numb and tingly and my right leg is always painful and numb from the bottom of my back to my toes in my right leg. I have had a mri scan done and they said that I have weakness in one of my nerves in my right leg which is causing all the problems. What can I do other than medictaion to relive the pain?
The docters said if it carries on until I have weakness going to the toilet then they will have to operate on my nerve I don't want to be doing that because it is a big risk I might get paralysed what can I do to prevent all of this from happening? In my NON-medical opinion, you NEED to see another doctor. Get a second or third opinion and make certain this nerve is what is causing the issue. I would NOT recommend another surgery without having at least one more opinion.
Be upfront about it and let your current doctor know you are weighing all of your options before agreeing to possibly cause yourself to be permanently handicapped and wheelchair bound. That you are taking his opinion seriously and feel you must rule out the chance that something LESS invasive could help you. Sources: my healthy life opinion.
I believe all our diseases are caused mainly by our diet. So we need to clean and detoxify and repair those damaged cells in our body. If you know somebody or a doctor who believes in alternative medicine, go to him and you can hire a physical therapist to pair with your alternative medicine.
Sometimes, we also need to believe the power of alternative medicines. It's for our own good and no surgical pain. Sources: My personal opinion .
1 We cannot diagnose the problem over the Internet (even if we were qualified to). The answer depends on the precise placement of the nerves and your particular situation, including how you react to the medicines they've prescribed. You really need to take a doctor's advice on this.
If the doctor recommends surgery, do it as quickly as you can, because long-term damage can be done if you wait. I know it's scary, and I'm really sorry about your situation. Surgery is always risky.
I wish I could offer a good alternative, but only your doctor knows you. You should get a second opinion, but the Internet is not where you go for that. You need to find a doctor, one who can see your files, which we can't do.

Get a copy of your records to another doc and be straight up with your current doc. Let him know you will not have another surgery without a second opinion, first. If you are wondering if this can be prevented/worked on without surgery, then also consult a physical therapist that specializes in spinal cord problems.
As Pam said, we are not qualified to assist you further.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
