They seem to be of the same mind-set of religious zealots. Al Qaeda is more the "political wing" of the Muslim extremists. The Taliban are the "strict religious wing" of the Muslim extremists.
There were news stories in the 80's of the Taliban dynamiting or similarily "wiping out" the older religious artifacts of Buddist, Sihk and other non-Muslim statues within the territory and region of Afghanistan. As well as enforcing their super-strict Sharia Laws on women and children by executing or severly punishing them for any mistakes they make AS Muslims. On display at soccer stadiums and other public forms of humiliation.
Al Qaeda don't exist. TheTaliban certainly do. Who armed them and then stirred up the trouble?
I stilll don't think much could be worse than this Usa! And those who weren't around at the time should know.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
