What do Senior Citizens think about piercings on younger people especially those that are visible?

I think it's a circulatory issue. I have always been too warm and have always preferred the cold. However in the past year or so I've noticed that my hands and feet get colder faster than they used to and I've been freezing in my favorite chair which is close to the window.

But then this has been a particularly cold winter in Michigan - as elsewhere. Even so I would rather be cold than warm; I can always get warmer more easily then I can cool down. I suspect that if I bothered to exercise I would find (I hope) that my circulation would improve.

"expertgal" makes a good point that our skin becomes thinner as we age as well. I've also noticed in the past several years that when I scratch my arms I bleed. Thinner skin probably affects how we feel temperatures as well.

But my mother, who is 89, never complains of the cold but then I suspect her place is better insulated than mine.

All I can say is I would much rather be a little chilly than too warm. I've always been like that. Today it's actually above 25° for the first time in weeks and it feels good, almost shirt sleeve weather!

Of course, tomorrow we're supposed to get a "wintry mix" which almost always means sleet, rain and/or wet snow which will freeze on the roads later in the day. I've had a couple weeks in a row where I was sneezing all the time and it's finally subsided a little. Today is gorgeous, wish it could stay this way for awhile.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
