Cookies are a relatively straight-forward way to enter into the wonderful world of baking. Especially drop cookies like oatmeal or your standard chocolate chip, the ingredients are simple, the steps somewhat standard, and the results are almost always a success! But the one factor that does play an important variable roll on the finished product is the oven temperature. An oven heated too hot will burn the exterior and leave the interior undercooked.
An oven temperature set too low will take hours, and who can wait that long! The standard oven temperature for cookies is typically between 325 and 350, depending on the recipe. The good thing about cookie baking is that the exact temperature isn't as important or exact as in some other recipes.
The down side is that every oven is unique, so the key is to find out whether your oven tends to be on the warmer or cooler side and adjust your temperature and/or timing as necessary. The main idea is to just give it a try and see. The more practice you have, the better you'll get at creating the ideal cookie, whether crispy or crunchy, ooey or gooey.
Have fun and happy baking!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
