I think they should release that particular whale back into the wild. That said, I don't agree with the idea that this is a typical result of putting animals in captivity for our entertainment. I know nothing about wales or tigers (remember when Roy was mauled in a Las Vegas show?), but I think it probably comes down to the what each individual animal is like: some do well in zoos, Sea World parks, or Las Vegas; others clearly don't do well.
Accidents will happen, but I don't think people should be rally around this as an example of why we should leave all animals in the wild. Not only does putting animals in 'captivity' help some endangered species survive, but it also gets people interested in animals (I'm guessing there have been a bunch of marine biologists and vets who were inspired to go into their fields after going to the zoo or a Sea World). I heard that some people think releasing it would be cruel.
If that's true, then I guess I don't understand how it could be. I don't think the whale would mind one bit. What do you and everyone at work think?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
