Mardi Gras (literally translated from French the words in the printed order means, Tuesday Fat. But nouns are pronounced first in French so when corrected to English format it means, Fat Tuesday) refers to only one day, the day before lent begins (Ash Wednesday).
Mardi Gras is the last hurrah or festival before the Catholic season of Lent which begins on Ash Wednesday, the next day after Fat Tuesday. It also has links to the Christmas season thru the period known as Carnival.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
