What is an authoritative parent?

Authoritative parent is a parent that are not usually controlling. They allow their child(ren) to explore more freely. This way they learn to make decisions based upon their own reasoning.

Children with authoritative parents tend to be more independent and self-reliant.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
