Whey protein has an higher bv score, which means it contains the closest amino acid score nearest to that of human tissue whey is digested very fast, usually enters the blood stream within 20 mins then around 1 hr mark the aminos in the blodd are gone. Whey is best taken with an high carb shake after intense weight training. Egg protein is slower digesting, remains in the blood for around 3 hrs.
Milk protein is the slowest retained in the blood stream up to 7 hrs whey for fast absor..... ie after intense exercise. Egg for in between meals milk protein at bedtime, to stop muscle breakdown during the night these proteins are equal. Its just that they work better at different times, timing is the key.
