What is Obama's plan to pay off the national debt?

Because republicans only have a problem with debt when a democrat is in the Oval Office. The vast majority of our debt is caused by unfunded wars and tax cuts, and republicans refuse to either end the wars, cut military spending or raise taxes. This means they're not serious about getting our debt under control.

They're only serious about defunding programs and organizations that traditionally vote for democrats, like Planned Parenthood and unions. It's just politics.

In 2000 the National Debt was $5,674,178,209,886.86 In 2008 the National debt was $10,024,724,896,912.49 Now the National Debt is $14,405,489,000,000 The Federal Surplus in 2000 was $236 Billion The Federal Deficit in 2008 was $455 Billion The Federal Deficit now is $1,372 Billion So under Bush the Deficit increased by $691 Billion in 8 years Under Obama the Deficit increased by $917 Billion in 3 years Under Bush the Debt increased by $4,350,546,687,025.54 in 8 years Under Obama the Debt increased by $4,380,764,103,087.60 in 3 years.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
