I don't think anyone can put it quite as eloquently as Keith Olbermann. youtube.com/watch?v=cVUecPhQPqY.
I say love is love is love, be it man & woman, woman & woman or man & man...
Coming from a very religious background I have been conlficted in the past about how to answer this question. What I have come to believe is this: If Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit "allowed" us to choose between right and wrong, who are we, as humans, to force someone into making a decision that doesn't directly interfere with the life of someone not involved? Is it going to kill anyone who didn't partake in the decision?
No.So why play God? Most religious people use the "Don't play God" arguement when it comes to cloning. So why not this as well?
Everyone should have the same rights - including the right to get married.
Two reasons: 1. Laws should apply equally to everyone. One consenting adult should be allowed to marry another consent adult of their own choosing.2.
Laws should be made to protect the civil liberties of its citizens, not withhold rights from a minority group based on gender, race or sexual orientation.
Let gay people be happy by giving them the right to be miserable.
Gays have the right to be as miserable as everyone else.
In males your partner wants to watch sports too and have sex all the time, win win...not that there's anything wrong with that.
It hurts more people keeping it illegal than it does to legalize it...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
