(If the hot water has to travel a distance through pipes to get to where you're using it, it will take a minute for the hot water to get to you, just like with the old fashioned tank type. ) You should think a bit about where you want to install it, since you don't have to designate a room for it -- it's so small! Seriously, it's about the size of my mom's old dictionary.

So far, the thing has worked just as I'd hoped. I docked one star from this rating because once, just after it was installed, the unit failed to turn on when I turned on the water. We flipped the breaker off and then on once, and it came back to life.

That was a couple of months ago, and it has not happened again. I was rewiring at the time I bought this item, and my electrician said it required a circuit or two more than I was expecting -- that's something to be aware of. I feel good knowing we're conserving energy -- we only heat water when we need it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
