The Neiman Marcus / Mrs. Fields Cookie Recipe (Recipe may be halved): 2 cups butter 4 cups flour 2 tsp. Baking soda 2 cups granulated sugar 2 cups brown sugar 5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder) 24 oz. Chocolate chips 1 tsp.
Salt 1 8 oz. Hershey bar (grated) 4 eggs 2 tsp. Baking powder 3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) 2 tsp.
Vanilla Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts.
Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet..Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies. Have Fun!
I always use the old Betty Crocker chocolate chip recipe and they are awesome! Let me get the book. Ok here are the ingrediants 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup shortening 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 6 oz semi sweet chocolate chip.
Mix sugars, butter, shortening, egg and vanilla. Add salt, flour, baking soda. Heat 350 degrees and bake 8 to 10 min or until light brown.

I honestly just use the recipe straight off the chocolate chip bag. I figure the manufacturer knows their product best and how to use it properly. Nestle hosts many different product specific recipes on their site.

It depends on what you like in a cookie. I like ones that are a little chewy but still crunchy. Basically, the recipe on the back of the box of chips (Nestle's Toll House) is my personal favorite.

Of choc. Chip 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional) This is important - mix all wet ingredients together first with an electric mixer. Then slowly add in the flour mixture consisting of flour, soda, and pudding while you continue to mix.
Add chocolate chips and nuts at the end. Drop on a cookie sheet and bake 8-10 min. At 375°F.
Let cool in pan for 5 minutes then transfer to cooling rack for another 10 minutes.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
