What is your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe?

I am completely with you in that I both (1) love chocolate chip cookies and (2) don’t really like it when they are flat. I actually spent some time last year trying out a few different variations on my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes to try to make a fluffy, thick and gooey chocolate chip cookie. I found that oatmeal and nuts (even finely chopped) are both really good at keeping the cookie from flattening out.

They seem to provide some level of structure that I really like. I’ve included a recipe below, but here is one other tip to bulking up your cookie a little – chill your cookie dough for 24 hours before you bake your cookies. That will really help them in terms of being a little bigger.

I am a fan of chocolate chip cookies and have also looked for some recipes for the most moist, chewy and delicious cookie I could make. I also enjoy the Food Network, so I tried the recipe from Alton Brown called "The Chewy" and was not disappointed. I think you would enjoy these cookies as well.

This recipe takes only about 20 minutes to prepare, 15 minutes to bake and makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen cookies. 2 sticks unsalted butter 2 1/4 cups bread flour 1 teaspoon kosher salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 cup sugar 1 1/4 cups brown sugar 1 egg 1 egg yolk 2 tablespoons milk 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Melt butter in medium saucepan on low heat. Sift the flour, salt and baking soda.

Pour the melted butter in a work bowl then add the sugar and brown sugar. Once in the bowl, cream on medium speed. Next, add the egg, yolk, milk and vanilla extract.

Mix and then add the flour mixture slowly until the batter is well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Chill the dough and add to parchment paper.

Bake in a 375 degree preheated oven until golden brown. Check the cookies every 5 minutes and for even browning rotate the baking sheet when checking. Any unused cookies store in an airtight contain to maintain freshness.

Enjoy!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
