What is the best food to add wine to while cooking?

I've listed some websites that go into a great deal of detail about the advantages of cooking with wine, but basically, it will add a better flavor to and enhance the taste of, lots of dishes that is not easily achievable by other methods. If you use it as a marinade and also in cooking tougher cuts of meat it will also serve to tenderise the meat. If you are cooking fish in a white sauce, the addition of white wine will improve the flavor, which can sometimes be a little bland.

Wine can be used to enhance many dishes, beef casserole cooked with red wine is a very tasty meal as is chicken with red or white wine.
