What is the difference between a public university and a private university?

Public universities are funded partially by the government and therefore are less tuition than private universities However, private universities give much more financial aid than public, and most students receive it.

A "public"school gets all state funding, e.g. UMass Amherst, University of Michigan. A "private" school funds itself primarily through tuition, e.g. Harvard University, Yale. Public schools are relatively inexpensive for people going to a public school in their state, and still fairly inexpensive (but more costly) if you're from out-of-state.

Public schools also sometimes get more scholarships through the state, and some are easier to get into (DO NOT take this as public schools are bad -- there are some good or great ones). Hope this helps!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
