Foot 2 Afrika is run and owned by Tanzanians. Many other companies that offer volunteer placements are foreign owned and are for profit with most of the money never even entering Tanzania. What you do get with those companies is worldwide offices and marketing representatives but the exact or lesser services inside of Tanzania often with none of the profits going towards helping the projects.
We believe that it should not cost you so much money to volunteer in a third world country.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
