What is the greatest post-apocalyptic movie ever made?

For me it's either 'Dawn of the Dead' or '28 Weeks Later'. I love the dead!

Water-world! No, I'm kidding. Off the top of my hed I'll say Zombieland followed by Tank Girl.

Maybe I'll amend this if someone else offers a better answer.

The Road... hands down all time best post-apocalyptic movie. As long as you don't count all the Viigo butt-shots . On second thought, 28 Days Later.

28 Days Later, 12 Monkeys and Terminator 2 are all tied for me.

I think the most popular response would be Planet of the Apes, though.

The original Dawn of the Dead! Also The Road is fantastic, and has to be the bleakest vision of the future to date. But its just not got the same fun factor as zombies in a shopping mall.

In the Offbeat Category: "Tank Girl" (use the proper elixer, and it's the best, for sure. ).

In the Mainstream Category: "Escape from New York. " I'm a sucker for Kurt Russell.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
