I once proposed in what I thought was a pretty romantic way I picked her up on a Friday after work and didn't tell her where we were going. I drove out to the beach and had a little picnic table, a simple dinner and some champagne in the trunk. He had tried to give me the perfect evening. We ended up using the grill in the living room and opening the window as wide as possible since it filled with smoke naturally - mid December in NYC. And eating burgers with wine & candle light, under blankets and while watching The Notebook.

It sounds silly I know, but the way that he had thought of everything that I wanted or had been missing & had gone out of his way to put it together perfectly, it was sweet, silly, and probably one of the most romantic nights. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
