I once proposed in what I thought was a pretty romantic way I picked her up on a Friday after work and didn't tell her where we were going. I drove out to the beach and had a little picnic table, a simple dinner and some champagne in the trunk. I set everything up so that we could eat and watch the sunset. It got her in a pretty good mood.
And just as the sun was dipping behind the ocean, I pulled out the ring. She said yes, by the way. :) Sources: My experience .
Remade the cake My wife and I got married in her hometown and tried to save the top layer of the cake for our first anniversary. It didn't make it. However, as our anniversary arrived, I found a picture of the cake and the topper and asked a baker to remake the cake.
I don't think I've surprised her more than a hand full of times since.
A perfect Christmas gift I have to say that I have not done anything worthwhile, however this past Christmas I got the most perfect gift. We had just moved from NJ to a tiny apartment in Brooklyn. We were broke to say the least so we set our spending limit at 75 dollars for Christmas gifts. My boyfriend is a bit of manly man, but I had been dying to watch The Notebook with him.
Sappy, yes. A couple days before Christmas, we exchanged gifts before going back to our families - sort of our first X-Mas. He had gotten me a wrapped copy of The Notebook, a tailgating bbq (I had been complaining that I miss bbq since we now have no outdoor space), and Bubba burgers (the world's greatest hamburgers).
He had tried to give me the perfect evening. We ended up using the grill in the living room and opening the window as wide as possible since it filled with smoke naturally - mid December in NYC. And eating burgers with wine & candle light, under blankets and while watching The Notebook.
It sounds silly I know, but the way that he had thought of everything that I wanted or had been missing & had gone out of his way to put it together perfectly, it was sweet, silly, and probably one of the most romantic nights. Much better than some silly piece of jewelry...or the ski jacket that I got him and I even went over budget. Sources: my boyfriend .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
