There have been A LOT of crazy stuff sold on eBay. And even more items that were listed but were never sold before eBay shut the auction down. People have attempted to auction off the Internet, their virginity, nothing (literally nothing), their imaginary friend, even Mexico was subject to the auctioneers.
I'll go with the Ghost in a Box. It had a well thought out story about how a kid caught a ghost in a cardboard box but really was a total scam. It sold for over $1000!
I also thought sellin souls was very funny. But my favorite has to be when the XBOX 360 came out every one was in a tizzy to buy one off ebay, a few unlucky people didn't pay enough attetntion and ended up paying 700 dollars for the BOX that the XBOX comes in, completly empty. Also they were not refunded because if read in detail it was obvious it was just the box.
I thought it was strange when souls were being sold on eBay. I looked into this (not because I needed a new soul =P) Some where being 'rented' for weekend use (between $5-10) and some where being outright sold. The ABC article is about a $400 soul ("20 yr-old Seattle boy's soul, hardly used,") sale.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
