What is your favorite craft or hobby?

Writing: I enjoy writing because all of my communication issues (usually) melt away. I often voice complicated concepts and ideas, and as I try to express them, I am met with contradiction and even accusations of not knowing what I am talking about or trying to say. Granted, I have come to realize that it may actually be because of the company I have been in the presence of.

Despite how smart a person is, it is not often utilized when no one around is smart enough to keep up. I say this based on my own personal growth since joining Mahalo. Coming here and expressing ideas, answering questions, and posing concepts and queries for the public has dramatically increased my basic knowledge as well as my application of a complex vernacular.

Just today, I learned about conservative anarchism, the distinction of sinkholes, and where to go to start a beginners job at writing (thank you @lvincentpoupard). This is all to the fault of enjoying writing about anything I find interesting (and maybe a little to the fault of reading my own thoughts ie 'hearing myself talk').

Oooh, that's a tough one. Craft would be knitting, hobby would be reading. Though, I must admit, I can do both, at the same time.So perhaps there is no dilemma after all.

:o) I love reading because it gives me an out to the day. I get to read, and edumacate myself on what good writing is supposed to be. I love reading a good book.

I also love reading short stories, as they are not always so involved, and I can finish one in an hour or so. Knitting is my quiet time in the day.It can be mindless, or I can sit and knit and reflect on the day or my life, or my sister's life. It often provides clarity on some subjects, for the simple fact that I sat and thought about it.

My favorite hobby is dance and yoga. If everyone did a little dance and yoga every day, I'm positive the world would be a better place:) Movement is so freeing and expressive. It's a way to lose yourself and get away from the frustrations of the world.

Of course I also love creative projects and am looking forward to Christmas so I can wrap presents which I have always loved to do. It's so satisfying to create something for someone else, especially when they appreciate it. I have the luxury of spending some time on these things every day and I wouldn't want it to be any other way.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
