In the late-to-mid '70's, my band was fortunate enough to open for KISS, and Blue Oyster Cult . We spent all day, one day, doing light/sound checks together. I got to talk with him ,and Ace (got some tips on how to play some awesome riffs), and Gene signed my guitar.

He also told me, while Peter Criss was singing 'Beth", a new song ,(on the "Destroyer" album) ,at the time.............. was NOT, one of HIS favorites. He was funny,hairier than me and very tall. SirTruth-a-lot 5 months ago .

Joe DiMaggio on one of his pictures, and a nice hand written note from Mrs Barbara Bush are the most cherished. A thank you from the Kennedy's and a few I think may have been signed by a secretary .

Years ago; I met an author just before she released her first novel; and she later sent me an autographed author's copy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
