What one activity would you choose to do that would offer the most to humanity?

You have enough money, and all your material needs are taken care of. You wonder what you should do with your life now. You decide that you want to do something that uses your skills to their fullest, and that will be most meaningful to humanity, or a portion thereof.

What is that activity that you now choose to do? Asked by Zhop 44 months ago Similar questions: activity choose offer humanity Games & Leisure > Living story.

Being a Blessing to others I think if I had all I needed and enough money, I would travel to other countries to help the needy, and to teach them about the love of Jesus Christ. It would give them real hope and change the outlook they have on life in this broken world. I would buy lots of land and build like a little city with a big ole house on it for all of the children that it could hold that need love and guidance in their lives. There are so many children who are abused and unloved because of so many different reasons and that is what I would love to do.

Yes, doing it now... I chose to become a foster parent providing a home for teens. Believe me, I have to use everything I ever learned to keep from going postal! Not just because they are teens, but most often they have been abused or are missing the basic skills you expect in children their age.

Sometimes I dream of finding the adults who hurt them and....never mind that! I haven't been able to help some of the kids, but others have been able to turn their whole lives around with just a little help from me. Adding one more responsible person to the world who was a "throw away" is meaningful to humanity in my book.

I would work with young teens, again. I would work with them on self esteem issues; practical life skills; self awareness; social skills and political and environmental activism. I know.

A lot. But that is my favorite age group (12-15). When I worked with kids that is the age where I saw so many kids become alienated and disenfranchised. It's such a great age for introspection, it's a shame not to capitalize on that natural interest!

It's also such a great age to draw on passions and interests that could last a lifetime. I'd love to see young people care about more than just peer pressure, or even SAT scores, but to start to see a larger picture. Hopefully, some day, I will be involved in this work again.

I know that for a lot of people it's their least favorite age to work with...hormones are raging, for one thing. But this is an age group I could hang out with all day, and often have..

Anything that made anyone's life better on this earth would be worth it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
