Here is the basic outline of how plato felt education should be done. I found this on Ehow which has a decent discussion of exactly this topic enotes.com/platos-republic/q-and-a/how-d... "Until 18, basic intellectual study and physical training Followed by 2 years of miltary training Followed by ten years of mathematics At 30, five years of dialectic Followed by 15 years as leaders, trying to 'lead people from the cave' (note, this is figurative, not literal) Upon reaching 50, they are fully aware of the form of the good and totally mature - ready to lead! " It would appear to me that if this was the way people were educated and then became leaders it would have serious implications for the society governed by these people.10 years of mathmatics!2 years of military training!
It would produce a group of people who thought they were well rounded but not actually that well rounded there doesn't seem to be any social sciences taught, how to deal with people from a cultural and posychological perspective is important in leadership.
It would be difficult for me to explain this and would take pages, but I found a link that seems to have the answers you are looking for. Hope it helps. scu.edu/ethics/publications/submitted/di....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
