The Happy Prince and other Fairy Tales by Oscar Wilde5. The Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K LeGuinI will put a link to each book on Amazon and a short description (the editor's blurb) in the discussion board for your reading pleasure. Haven't heard of the Askville Book Club?

HGTTG HGTTG is an absolute classic, but I have a hard time believing that there are people out there who haven't read it. I just listened to the Audiobook of The Time Traveler's Wife last month, and it's very good, not sure I'd classify it as Sci-Fi though. I haven't read any of the other three, so if I were part of the club my vote would be for one of them, probably Grendel, it looks like the most interesting..
Don’t Panic. A dog-eared copy of The tchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy should already be in the library of every science fiction fan and computer geek. While Adams’ iconic and distinctive style is something I would recommend to anyone predisposed to the genre, I would recommend for a book club something not everyone has already read.My vote is for The Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K LeGuin .
A Wizard of Earthsea Of the four that I have read, this is the one that I enjoyed the most. Thanks for the lead about the Wilde book, which I had never heard of.
All good books but.... I vote for The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger Sources: Read it already .
1 1. Tchhikers Guide: amazon.com/tchhikers-Guide-Galaxy-Dougla... Douglas Adams's hapless hero Arthur Dent as he travels the galaxy with his intrepid pal Ford Prefect, getting into horrible messes and generally wreaking hilarious havoc. Dent is grabbed from Earth moments before a cosmic construction team obliterates the planet to build a freeway.
You'll never read funnier science fiction; Adams is a master of intelligent satire, barbed wit, and comedic dialogue.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
